WWE Legend Road Warrior Animal Has Passed Away

It is with great sadness I report that Road Warrior Animal has passed away today. A WWE Hall of Famer and one half of the legendary tag team The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom (with Hawk), Animal has left an undeniable mark on pro wrestling and its fanbase. From Animal's Twitter:

At this time, we would like to confirm the passing of Joseph Laurinaitis aka Road Warrior Animal at the age of 60. The family is planning to release a statement later today. At this time we ask for you to keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers. #OhWhatARush

Animal's last WWE appearance took place in 2012 on the milestone 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw, in an angle with a group of other legends to beat down Heath Slater. His last major wrestling appearance was a cameo spot on the All In PPV in 2018- a pre-cursor to AEW.

Thoughts and condolences go out to Animal's family, friends and fans. RIP.
